Tuesday 28th January - The British Institute of Professional Photographers Present - An Evening with Martin Middlebrook 

at 7.30pm at Greywood Hall, Altofts Lane, Castleford, West Yorkshire WF10 5PZ

An evening looking at Martin’s varied life in Photography and  Photojournalism in Afghanistan and Paris to fine art. For more information see the enclosed PDF.

YPU Club members are invited to go along the cost for non-members of the BIPP is £10.

Friday 31st Jan - Forest of Galtres Camera Club

Easingwold, North Yorkshire – Ken Proudley Tribute

Ken Proudley, who sadly passed away this summer, was an active member of our club, serving many years on the committee and winning

many club competitions with both his slides and digital images.

His Friends and Family are arranging a Ken Proudley LRPS Memorial Evening, celebrating the life of Ken through his photography.

Friday 31st January 2020 at the Parish Rooms, Easingwold starting at 7.30 p.m.

Admission is free but donations will be to the Marie Curie Charity. Light refreshments will be provided.

Hoping there will be club members both past and present able to attend and make this a memorable evening.

A Day in the Life of a Photojournalist by Charlotte Graham
Charlotte Graham is a professional photographer based in the north of England. Her unique combination of technical and creative photographic talent combined with a desire to create the very best image possible from any scenario makes her in demand with both international press and businesses alike. You will see her work published regularly in The Telegraph, The Times and The Observer broadsheets as well as gracing the covers of leading tourism and leisure attractions and entertainment venues.

Farming Project by Amy Bateman
Amy Bateman is a freelance photographer who lives on a farm in Cumbria and whose life through a lens came after having children. Having given up her previous career to look after them at home on the farm, she took her camera with her capturing their early years. She is now thrilled to be pursuing a career as a photographer, and thoroughly enjoys capturing light, memories and making the important details stand out.
