The Royal Photographic Society – Digital Imaging Group Yorkshire & NE Centre

Tony & Eva Worobiec – “Land and Seascapes: Themes and projects”

Saturday 26th October 2019 – Clements Hall, York

We are so pleased that they are coming to help us launch the October conference of the Yorkshire and North East Digital Image Group and also that they will visit themes 'old and new' during the course of the day.

Skills and ideas covered will include:

'learning to embrace all conceivable weather conditions; familiarising yourself with your immediate environment as often the best weather shots are taken close to home; which lenses, filters and shutter speeds are most appropriate for specific conditions'.

'the importance of research; the problems of photographing in confined and dark spaces; the importance of weather and lighting for conveying mood'.

sharing their approach to looking for locations that could have a romantic or industrial appeal; talk about the importance of a `minimal approach’; and returning to a previous theme, `consider the importance of weather and tide and how these will impact on the final image’.

how engaging with a personal project makes it much easier to get representation in serious photographic galleries, and also to have your work published.

Places are limited so book now to guarantee your place at this conference.
